I've got to make this quick, we're expected in New York shortly.

So, let's get through the main news of yesterday, the Pride Festival. Over where people could gather up and mingle, Steven and Watts complimented the set up and took some pictures for it. In the business area, Stark and Steven talked about upcoming classes. I had a booth set up to give away some merchandise and Steve was so kind to get me drinks and food to survive the day. Don was disappointed in the selection, I promise that there will be more next year. Stark also checked things out after complimenting the dog. Raiden had his pizza place and the new breakfast place represented with Stark checking in about pairing the mimosas with the pizza. Steve got his previously mentioned treats there too. There were also some games to enjoy, like how Steve... other Steve and Danny did. Oh, and the stage too! But I think the heat kept things low key.

But I really do have to run. Have a good one, folks!

What am I--fine, fine, I'll do it, stop jumping on me!

This is Anakin Skywalker. Miss Lydia Bennett is indisposed this morning and so I am here to report on a party I didn't even go to.

*chittering*

No, that's not actually "very helpful" of you. Let's get through classes first, though, shall we? Dr. Blake took the First Aid students through a simulated mass casualty event and Galactic Travel class went to Alderaan.

*awkward pause*

I'm sure they enjoyed that.

*chittering*

No, it's lovely! I just haven't been there in a very long time.

In non-party town news, Rey and I were chasing a porg around her warehouse in a very dignified way and Watts took a break from work at the station for pasta salad with Steven.

*excited porg sounds* And Henry was in a common room.

*sound of massive pile of papers falling over*

Sithspit. There go the party notes. For those of you that aren't aware, Liliana and Ignis threw a garden party in celebration of their engagement and approximately half the island showed up, so strap yourselves in for five minutes of me trying to make small talk sound fascinating.

*chittering*

I do not find small talk fascinating. It's part of why I didn't go to the party. The other part was Christopher's baseball game. Liliana praised Gladio for wearing a shirt to the party and Ignis told Gladio about a box he could use to stuff Prompto into. That's more fun that small talk and I was never allowed to stuff boring Senators into boxes, which would've livened up receptions considerably. Prompto and only-youngling-at-the-party Noctra congratulated Liliana on her engagement and Ignis caught her--Noctra, not Liliana--before she could inflict plant-based injury on herself. Liliana gave Summer the heads-up that Rey wanted to go shopping, and Summer told both members of the happy couple how glad she was not to have to keep the engagement ring a secret any longer. Speaking of Rey, she was there to compliment Summer's dress, and so was Stark.

Liliana asked Arden how she chose the music at the end of her broadcasts, and Arden complimented Ignis on the air at the party, which is definitely a compliment I've never heard before. Lydia told Arden about her sister Mary's wedding, Liliana told Stark she didn't think the administration would let her teach hands-on necromancy and this is absolutely correct, don't do that, Ignis insincerely welcomed Stark and that made him wonder if he should stay to Rey.

Eleanor was praised for her participation in the ethics class and congratulated Ignis, Arden came over to cringe about how she'd complimented the air, and Lydia told Eleanor that today is her birthday and now I see why she's not here. Rey's dress met with Liliana's approval, and Rey complimented Ignis on how nice everything looked, a mistake she realized three seconds after saying it. Luma chose small talk with Liliana and Ignis and Lydia. Liliana gave Lydia birthday diamonds--

*chittering*

--something I'm being assured is not normally a thing, and was also greeted by Ignis and Rey, who complimented Lydia on her ability to blend in at a party. Liliana was pleased to see Don in attendance--so was Ignis, and then flirted with Tony before they worked on planning the party after next week's party. Ignis made sure to check that Tony would be dancing so he could see Liliana and Ignis' new chandelier. Steve and Tony also flirted before Steve made an unseemly dent in the appetizers, and Jack complained about sex pollen week to Liliana before introducing himself to Ignis.

*chittering*

No, that wasn't really a smooth transition, I agree. Deal with it. Stewart didn't understand garden parties but showed up anyway, Steven and Watts were thrilled by vegan food--someone has to be, I suppose--and then Steven tried to explain why he and Watts aren't married to Liliana before saying hi to Ignis and telling Stark about his upcoming trip to Greece. He also told Nell about it. Watts got a history lesson about Liliana's last name before saying hello to Ignis and Stark. Adrian was greeted by Luma and Lydia, Liliana, Ignis, and Rey. Popular guy.

Liz and Prompto talked about getting Noctra to nap, but Liz also complimented the party to Liliana and Ignis. Liliana praised Steve for letting Tony throw him a birthday party, and Steven apologized for missing the upcoming party because he's going to Greece. Liliana wanted Flint to open the bookstore more often, Lana brought congratulatory wine, Hannibal decided that an engagement party was a good time to tell Liliana about his cursed weddings, and Jon's presence reminded Liliana that she should re-teach her self-indulgence class. And Nell's dress matched Gladio's outfit.

And that's finally everything!

*chittering*

What.

*chittering*

And then people danced under the fancy chandelier. There. Now I'm finished.

*chittering*

No, I will not add more "pizzazz." Enjoy the weekend celebrations, everyone.

In classes, Liliana learned how many do-gooders she had in her class when she gave them an option to save stranded people, Breakfast Foods got a sneak peek at the menu for Raiden's new restaurant, Hannibal had everyone bring in their signature dishes, we visited Crater Lake with Sam Eagle, and the library was being predictably weird for Belle.

In town, the Museum had a sign to remind everyone that it was air conditioned. Are there places on the island not air conditioned? It's one of the best parts of this century.

...someone check on that cranky bookshop owner. Liz was finding it hard to focus at the Photo Hut, Tony invited everyone to my birthday party, happening the day before my birthday so it doesn't interrupt your July 4th plans, Thor was experimenting with mead--you should try some, it's good--and Vi was stymied in her attempt to help Steph with Pride Weekend stuff by becoming a cat. If I had a quarter for every time that happened here, I'd be pretty well off.

*chittering*

Yes, I am married to Tony Stark. That's not the point.

Finally, Supper Club went for fancy tea in Baltimore. Lydia and Rey wanted to know if the tower of treats would come with a flag on it because we Americans love our flag. They are correct. Liliana offered to give Rey fashion advice and I am not stepping on that land mine, Ignis assured Rey they had everything prepared for today's festivities, and then said the same to Lydia. Flint didn't seem thrilled to learn that tea like this was aristocratic, and then Ignis and Liliana were being, and I quote, 'schmoopy', which I believe is their right. Flint and Rey were formal and awkward at each other, and Flint told Lydia that the delights of afternoon tea would be wasted on his colleagues in Nassau, and then his pocket was mysteriously filled with a flask that Liliana had nothing to do with.

That seems like a suspicious sentence, but I'm not looking into it further. See you all at the party!

*chittering*

No. Not really.

*chittering*

I actually thought you'd decided to stop bothering me. Sadly, I'm not that lucky.

Let's see, the only School news, was Shenanigans, where 'sharing was chairing', where the voluntolds had to share an increasingly smaller number of chairs. I'm sure it all ended in tears, or random passers-by being flung at Anakin. Possibly both.

Nothing much for the Dorms, while in Town, it was date night at the boarding house, and at Caritas ice-cream jello was the flavour of the day. In between the usual nonsense on stage, Atton was quite negative about the jello theme, which might be why Summer sought reassurance from Rey, Stark was mostly relieved there were no horrors, and Stewart was there.

Good morning, it’s Wednesday again and I’m here and -

*chittering*

And the squirrels would like to complain to island management about the heat. They wouldn’t have to deal with it if they weren’t running around spying all the time. They could just stay somewhere nice and cool and they do this to themselves.

So, let’s just read the notes before the squirrels melt. I don’t think they can really melt. They’re being very dramatic. So. Notes from the school. Gladio joined me for Finding New Hobbies and we learned about camping and Cup Noodle™. Thor brought his Norse Life students to a feast with singing. Everyone ended up very colorful during The Wonderful World of Art because Aphra and Isabela had everyone throwing dyed water balloons at each other. And in Paintball! there were buckets of ice water to go with the paint and Arden won our final game.

Nothing from the dorms for yesterday and the porg would probably be upset but I think he’s hiding from Anakin right now? Or swimming? Perhaps both.

In the town poor Kitty had to deal with Tino as usual and with the zombie band playing songs about heat. I’m sorry, Kitty.

Steph went around town putting up posters about Pride this weekend. A festival and a parade. Good. I like those. Both of those.

And Tony was trying get more things to hand out for Pride and telling Steve about it and promising to ogle him. Right.

That’s all I have from yesterday for today. I have to do a better job avoiding Anakin today than I did last week. I hope you all can do the same.

Gooooood morning Fandom! It's ya girl Arden Finch here, reminding you that next Tuesday is the first day of July, which means, the end of - official - Pride. So get your Pride on over the the next week if you haven't yet!

Moving on from warnings of tomorrow to news of yesterday, we kicked off the final week of this summer session in School! Teamwork had us write bitchy letters to people or an institution that made us mad, and then share our letters with someone else so they could help us bitch it up a notch. I wrote to Callista but then I shredded it. Creative Problem Solving had people composing...love songs to Dean Skywalker?! And then lip-synching to them again???! Wow...that sounds like a Wednesday Shenanigans he just couldn't find a way to incorporate slime into.

*a long pause*

Please don't take that as an idea, sir. [BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP] Uh, anyway, uh, then National Park Adventure Team got to go to the Golapagos Islands!

No notes from the Dorms and I've decided it's because there is fly paper over all the doors and windows preventing squirrels from getting in. Tune in next week to see what bizarre reason I can make up!

Some notes from Town, starting with Professor Vess at the Infinite Consortium debating what class to teach next session. There were...tentacle...things...at the Magpie Emporium. This note gives no more detail than that so watch out for tentacle things? [BLEEP], that woulda been a way better reason than fly paper. It was National Pink Day at Turtle and Canary, but Professor Smith didn't notice because she was busy with Rage...Fest...? Okay, y'all squirrels really need to get with the contextualizing details please! Professor Argentum was debating over his best pictures from Friday at The Photo Hut, and Officer McGarrett was making all the troopers at the Trooper Station take a cybersecurity training while he...also did the training. Yup! Everyone was appreciative of the AC at the Clinic - aww, it's not that hot yet, y'all!

*squirrelly chittering, including a word that sounds suspiciously like HVAC*

Listen to me you little rodent hooligans, you keep your mouths shut about stuff you're supposed to keep your mouths shut about, or else Leroy won't be the only one with a picture on the back of a milk carton, we clear?

Aheeeem, ANYWAY, we finish up our broadcast with Mr. Northman being shirtless at the Devil's Nest, when Professor Fel came in and learned about Shirtless Mondays. And Thursdays. Because that's how we roll on Fandom Island.

And that's it for me, folks! So this is ya girl, Arden Finch, signing off with one last Pride anthem for y'all to enjoy: We Are Family by those icons, Sister Sledge. Bye!

It was hot out. Stark wasn't too bothered by that but he was appreciating the air conditioning inside the clinic.

Stabby was staying in the water in his tank. Probably a wise move.

The nurses were very appreciative of the iced coffees Stark had brought with him and he offered to go out for more if needed.

Good morning, everyone, it's Steve Rogers with the news.

In classes, Art of Breakfast made hash browns and home fries, Ethics talked magic and technology--one of Tony's favorite arguments--we went to a giant Kentucky cave in National Parks, Philosophy of Food talked economics, and there was a summer reading display at the library, complete with sand and gremlins in lounge chairs. No word on if they were in swimwear, so I'll leave that mental image to your imaginations.

In town, Liz was unpacking boxes at the Photo Hut, Jack was working out with his lightsabers, Watts and Steven talked anniversary vacation plans, and Ignis and Liliana have invited all of us to a party next Friday, so clear your calendars. Luma was exploring the colors of nail polish available at Pixie Dust, Stewart worked on his set list for Summer's party today, and Thor celebrated Juneteenth with red drinks.

The Supper Club went to the Lobster Hut--

*chittering*

I did so pronounce the "r". Rey and Lydia congratulated Liliana, Adrian told Rey about how the island hated him and was punishing him through terrible music, and Rey and Lydia agreed that the dean should never ever have a lava-based Wednesday event. Liliana and Ignis talked about Summer's invitation to RageFest, Adrian and Ignis discussed Adrian's excess of produce--really?

*chittering*

You make it sound like a euphemism that way.

Rey and Lydia also congratulated Ignis, Lydia was surprised that Adrian's cat didn't come with him to get fish, and Captain Flint made it very clear that he wouldn't be wearing a bib for anything. This led to a discussion about laundry with Lydia, why Flint had thrown Beaker around on Wednesday, and how a bib would ruin people appreciating Liliana's...assets.

*chittering*

I know what you wrote. I'm not saying it. Adrian assured the captain that he was quite formidable and the island's sense of being afraid of people is just broken. On that happy note, I'm out of notes. I'm grilling at Summer's beach party, though, so come down and say hi, okay?

Good morning, it's Anakin Skywalker, here to speak accurately of the glories of yesterday's teambuilding.

*porg noises*

And to reinforce that porgs are not for throwing, even if they get into a bucket on a raft? Porgs should be more careful.

*sulky porg noises*

We met at the pond yesterday where four teams of four had to pass an object from one raft to another without falling off and while wearing attractive thematic shirts. Vi and Steph made a side bet about which team would do better. Then everyone participated, throwing balls, shoes, rubber chickens, and Beaker. But not the porg, so thank you, Quinn. Congratulations to Cowboy Raccoons--

*chittering*

--and the squirrels say the raccoons are prepared to make you very fair offers for those shirts if you are looking to part with them.

Arden had her own personal raincloud in the library, but it didn't get any of the books soggy.

In town, Quinn was checking to see if the dog toy she'd picked up at Shenanigans was cursed--probably not--Adrian was definitely being cursed with the constant repetition of 'It's a Small World'--

*'It's a Small World' being played for ten minutes*

No one asked for that, Intern Porg. No one.

Finally, at Caritas, the night included karaoke, one of which was just screaming, which might be better than 'It's a Small World', but probably not.

*chittering*

Taylor Swift is definitely better than both of the other options. Liliana stopped by to wish Summer an early happy birthday and to invite her to something called RageFest, Jack brought Summer 'space booze', which is a very broad category, Stewart brought her a non-space booze gift, I am assuming, and Stark voluntarily drank a pickle shot.

And that's everything. I'll see most of you in ethics class.

Good morning, it’s Wednesday, again and I’m here, again.

We’ll start with the school, again. We went looking for birds during Finding New Hobbies. Thor took his Norse Life class…boar hunting. All right. The Wonderful World of Art made jewelry. Hmm. That could be a hobby, couldn’t it? And Summer won at Paintball!

I have nothing from the dorms but a few notes from the town. Ignis was at Luke’s with his own specials this week, not generic ‘fancy’ ones. Liliana visited, as always, and complained of being cold after hunting boar with Thor.

Gladio had a new flavor of Cup Noodle™ in his machine at the gym. I didn’t know it came in pickle flavor. Probably better than the pickle tiramisu from Raiden…but the pickle pizza is good. Right. Nell stopped in, as she usually does.

And at Pixie Dust, Boc was enjoying all of the parasols. Those are…
*chittering*
Oh, the pretty fancy umbrellas.

That seems to be all for today from yesterday. Good luck avoiding Anakin.

Hey there island! It's me, ya girl, Arden Finch, wishing you all a bright and cheerful Tuesday morning. It's June, it's Pride, we're more than halfway through the first summer semester, and Juneteenth is in two more days, let's go!

Starting at the School because I'm not sure what will happen if I deviate from the chosen template, possibly a squirrel riot, Creative Problem Solving had to...shove a banana in a bottle, according to this note, and from the way the squirrels are snickering, I have no idea how accurate that summary is. The Art of Conversation acknowledged that nobody liked small talk, and wanted to know what people did like to talk about instead. At least, the people in the class, anyway. And National Park Adventure Team got to visit Ras Muhammad National Park in Egypt, where snorkeling and scuba diving were on the agenda. It was dope, actually.

The expected number of notes in Dorms, so onto Town. Professor Vess was looking at some word that is heavily scribbled out here at the Infinite Consortium, and Professor Smith brought her cat into Turtle & Canary, much to the canary's dismay. Wait, is there an actual canary in there? And a turtle? Damn. The more you know, I guess. At the Photo Hut, Professor Argentum did some tidying and reshelving before settling in to work on photos, which, y'know, tracks with where he is. Magpie Emporium had Vi digging through the inventory for her homework, and Professor James Stark was in the Clinic being taunted by the crab. Um. I'm sorry? And, finally, over at the Trooper Station, Officer McGarrett was looking around the office "very sus." That is, of course, a direct quotation from my notes.

But that's also it for my notes, so this is ya girl, Arden Finch, signing off. Gotta go kick Cal's butt in Paintball today. It's my day, I can feel it! Have a good day yourselves, folks, and enjoy Honey by Kehlani. Bye, island!

Good morning. It is Monday once again and thus you are hearing from me once again.

The action yesterday was, I'm sure you're all shocked to hear, all taking place in Town, with Mrs. Argentum and the Little Miss were making a Father's Day breakfast for Mr. Argentum, and they- Mr. and Mrs. Argentum, that is, the Little Miss mostly being focused on the pancakes, solid show of priorities right there- discussed what they ought to do to celebrate the day. Mr. Boc stopped by J,GoB for his usual cinnamon roll, and was confronted with questions from the staff regarding his plans for Father's Day. A gambit that ended rather awkwardly as Mr. Boc does not have a father. I also grew up without a father, so you're in- well, you're in company, Mr. Boc. Suppose whether it's good is entirely subjective.

Stark was in the park. *squirrely chitters* Yes, thank you, I'm aware that was a rhyme. I'm sure no one's ever pointed that out before. Continuing on, I stopped to chat with him about my plans for lunch. The squirrels are giving me judgemental looks for not having a 'juicy' conversation, whatever that means.

At the Stark-Rogers residence, Mr. Rogers was concerned about Mr. Stark, and eventually coerced him out of his laboratory for a meal.

And that, everyone, is all of note that happened yesterday.

Monday morning meant another clinic shift. As always.

The weather was a little questionable today but Stark was planning on being inside for his shift. It would be rather odd for the clinic to suddenly be outside but this was an odd island.

He had coffees for the nurses, as always, but he hadn't brought himself anything to eat and was regretting that life choice.

Stabby, meanwhile, was just chilling in his tank with a bagel that he was definitely not sharing.

The clinic was open, the alien was in and hungry, and the crab was possibly taunting him.
